Editor, writer, wife to R, cheese-lover, inline skating queen, golfer with an impressive swing, but unimpressive handicap; social media nut and new(ish) mom. I’ve worked for the Times Union — a Hearst-owned newspaper in the capital of New York — for more than 16 years, writing about everything from potholes to potheads to pot racks.
When I went on maternity leave in late 2013 I didn’t want to stop writing, so this website was born. I post … occasionally. Previously, I wrote the Times Union’s On the Edge blog (second only to Capital Confidential, in terms of readership). I also have a weekly segment with Brian and Chrissy on the Fly Morning Rush where we
argue talk about whatever is trending in the world of pop culture.
