I blogged for more than eight years on TimesUnion.com, winning numerous local, state and national awards. Then I had a kid, took a maternity leave and came back the paper I’d worked at since graduating college as a part timer — editing a lot, writing a bit and blogging less.
I miss the daily interaction a blog affords, so I’m taking it up on here. I’ll focus on trends, pop culture and the wackiness in our society, and also what I’m learning (failing at) as a new parent (no photos of dirty diapers, I promise). The usual stories about married life and the other personal stories you’ve gotten used to seeing for the last nine years will also pop up, I’m sure.
I doubt motherhood will make me any less opinionated, reserved or frugal, but we’ll see.
